It's July 3rd. Feels like everyone's already checked out for the holiday. Is anyone even going to read today's newsletter? I mean, I took the time to write it...so I hope someone does. Anyone? If you’re out there, yell “Polo” (in honor of the greatest summer pool game ever).
That said, I think July 4th might actually be my favorite holiday. Great weather, long days, fireworks, friends, family, BBQ -- and this year, it kicks off a full week of vacation for me and my family.
But, good news for you: this newsletter isn't taking a vacation. Even while I’m out, the Freshpaint 5 is still going out...just with a guest author. I gave him full freedom to write whatever he wants while I’m gone. Will I regret that? Tune in next week to find out.

Product Update: Fresh Vibes
If you've popped into the Destinations tab in Freshpaint recently, you may have noticed that we're changing the vibes. Things look a little...friendlier. We've rolled out a few design updates that make managing your data destinations just a bit smoother:
A fresh look for the Data Warehouses page – now styled to match the rest of the destinations experience. Streamlined, simplified, and easier on the eyes.
Error Banners for broken destinations – no more hunting for issues. You'll now see a clear alert at the top of the page with a direct link to fix it.
Better controls for managing destinations – activated destinations float to the top, and delete buttons now include tooltips and improved logic (disabled when they should be, active when allowed).
All of this is laying the groundwork for something much bigger coming soon...
