Hey there,
Yesterday was May Day, which a lot of folks use as a celebration to mark the start of summer. But you know something that's a little confusing? Pilots use the word "mayday" when things have gone very wrong.
Every single year I think about this. One is good: the start of summer; one is bad: things have gone wrong. How did we end up in this situation where we have basically the same word that means two completely different things?
I could probably Google it and find the answer pretty easily, but I'd prefer to ask all of you. Anyone know where the distress term, "mayday" comes from?
Anyway, as usual my intro has nothing to do with today's newsletter. So here's a quick rundown. Today, we're talking:
- Reddit ads
- Locations for the upcoming Freshpaint LIVE roadshow
- Cerebral's FTC penalty
- And Kaiser is in the news
Let's get into it...
