A few weeks ago, I featured soup in this newsletter. We had a bunch of great recipes from readers. If you’re looking for more recipes from your favorite healthcare marketing newsletter, I’ve got good news…
I found a list of recipes from former presidents. Ever wanted to make Woodrow Wilson’s ‘Healthy Breakfast’? Now you can. It’s simple. It’s just grape juice and raw eggs. President Wilson described it tasting like, “an unborn thing.” Tasty!
Or how about Richard Nixon’s Ham Mousse? There’s a recipe for that too. See all the recipes here. And if you want to watch someone suffer through President Wilson’s Healthy Breakfast, click here.
Anyway, let’s get back to the Freshpaint 5. In this week’s newsletter, we’ve got an epic product update, a fresh slate of upcoming events, a new eBook, and some bad news for Aspen Dental.
Let’s dive in.

Freshpaint's Compliant Corner
Google Analytics isn’t HIPAA compliant out of the box. That’s old news at this point. The reason Google Analytics isn’t HIPAA compliant isn’t actually because of the product itself. It’s from the web tracker that powers the product.
Here’s the bad news: The Google Analytics web tracker isn’t the only web tracker that puts you at risk of HIPAA violations. There are a host of other risky trackers out there.
To help you understand these other risky web trackers, we just published a brand new eBook. In it, we cover four types of web trackers that you might have on your website, what those trackers mean for HIPAA compliance, and what you can do about them.
Another class action web tracker lawsuit dropped this week. This one is against Aspen Dental for, “installing tracking software on its website and sharing private healthcare data with third parties. Those parties include Facebook, Google, Bing and Salesforce.”
We’ve seen plenty of lawsuits against healthcare organizations for their use of Facebook and Google trackers, but this might be the first class action lawsuit that includes Bing and Salesforce.
