Hey there,

It's funny how life changes when you've done something once.

I've got about 9 weeks until my second kid arrives. With my first, my wife and I had the nursery done months in advance. Read the books. Went to the classes. Had lists of names.

This time? Does my kid even need a crib? A name? A room?

Parenthood has a way of changing your perspective like that. The more you know, the less you prepare because you've seen enough to know that no amount of preparation actually prepares you.

Anyway, while I prepare to be unprepared, here's what I've got for you in this week's newsletter:

  • Smarter Integration Configuration
  • The DSO Leaders Circle
  • Enforce Consent Without Killing Performance
  • Double New Patients Without Doubling Spend
  • Using your CRM as a Marketing Engine
  • Looking for your next job?

Let's get into it...

Product Update: Integration Configuration

Setting up and maintaining integrations just got a lot more intuitive.

We've updated the Integrations Configuration UI to make allowlist management clearer. No more digging through documentation or leaning on support to get things right.

Here's what's new:

  • Three top-level allowlist categories: Required, Recommended, and Optional
  • Internal groupings for related parameters (like Click Through Conversion)
  • A "one or more required" option so you always know what's needed

The result: faster onboarding, easier maintenance, and less guesswork when configuring your integrations.

The update is rolling out iteratively across integrations, but you can see the full experience today in the Spotify CAPI integration.

To see it in action, login to the platform, or talk to your Account Manager.

Enforcing Consent Without Killing Performance - Live Webinar

State privacy laws are evolving quickly, and for healthcare organizations, consent is both a legal and measurement challenge.

Many teams feel stuck between tightening compliance controls and preserving the visibility they need to operate.

In this live conversation, Scott Dumas, Corporate Director of Digital Marketing at McLaren Health, and the Freshpaint team share how they're enforcing consent without defaulting to blanket geo-blocking, losing internal visibility, or incurring the months-long implementation headache.

Fresh Content: Doubling New Patients

Allison Horn manages marketing for 120+ dental practices across wildly different markets. In one rural Minnesota location, her team launched a campaign that more than doubled new patient volume and grew production 38% year over year, without dramatically increasing spend.

The secret wasn't a new channel. It was a better decision model.

Allison's approach: stop defaulting to Google, study market conditions first, and build the operational infrastructure (scheduling capacity, intake scripts, show-rate improvements) before scaling demand. Marketing owned the full conversion path, not just the top of funnel.

The result? A practice that hit capacity and kept growing even after the campaign paused.

Fresh Take: CRM as a Marketing Engine

A CRM disconnected from your EMR can tell you what your campaigns did.

It can't tell you what your patients did.

Heather Linder at OU Health built her entire growth strategy on closing that gap first. Connecting her marketing platform to her source of truth for patient data, then layering in claims and propensity modeling on top.

The result: you're not guessing who needs to hear from you. You already know.
