Product Update: Maps Gets a Glow-Up

Starting today (July 31), all customers will be automatically upgraded to the latest version of Freshpaint Maps. This change modernizes how maps look and feel. Think cleaner visuals, up-to-date street names, and improved accuracy -- all while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

 

Why we did it:
Some users were seeing missing or outdated street labels due to deprecated AWS support. This update fixes that, giving you a more reliable mapping experience without changing how location services like geocoding or search suggestions work.

 

What’s staying the same:
All your current pins, customizations, and location data are safe. No need to update anything on your end.

 

Who benefits:

  • Existing customers will automatically see the upgraded visuals on July 31.

  • New customers are already onboarded with the latest version.

  • Developers can dig into the updated implementation docs via our demo and documentation pages.
